Job Description:
Our Director of Care Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a company and ensuring that all departments run efficiently and effectively. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced director to lead our care team and ensure the highest standards of care are provided to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Supervise and manage the daily operations of the facility reporting any issues/concerns to Executive Director.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Staff Supervision: Oversee and support staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Scheduling: Coordinate scheduling of staff to ensure adequate staff consistent with guest care needs.
Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce company policies and procedures.
Strategic Planning: Work with senior management to set strategic goals and develop long-term operational plans.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the performance of staff and implement measures to improve guest satisfaction, as needed.
Responsibility: The Director of Care will have 24/7 accountability/responsibility for maintaining daily operations and staffing of The Shoshana.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in good standing; Antepartum/Postpartum, Delivery, and/or NICU experience preferred. IBCLC may also be considered.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of postnatal and infant care.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective care programs.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Certification required.
