Education Trainer Case Management

The Director of Education and Professional Development ensures departmental and organizational activities align with the System’s mission, values, and objectives. This role involves leading efforts in education, clinical practice, care delivery systems, and evidence-based practice. The Case Management Education Trainer has key responsibilities that include designing, implementing, and evaluating professional development and education programs, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, and driving innovative strategies to enhance care reliability. The position requires expertise in adult education, professional development, evidence-based practice, and clinical standards within the healthcare setting.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse required
• Master's degree required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Staff development or an educational role

Responsibilities:

• Oversee professional development and education programs to foster clinical excellence and reliable care
• Supervise staffing activities, including hiring, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and ongoing education
• Develop and implement educational and professional development goals consistent with clinical, administrative, and legal requirements
• Facilitate clinical affiliations and oversee student educational experiences
• Align department activities with the organization's mission, values, and objectives
• Lead and evaluate education, clinical practice, care delivery systems, and evidence-based practices
• Research and apply evidence-based practices to enhance staff development, clinical practices, and patient-centered outcomes
• Collaborate with departments to assess learning needs and establish competency requirements
• Plan and implement initiatives for patient care improvement, technology integration, complaint management, and performance enhancement
• Manage onboarding, orientation, and mandatory education programs
• Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure compliance with funding allocations
• Direct and coordinate internal and external audits
