    C&F is on a journey to grow revenue within the US Market. Leading this initiative is a newly formed US-based Business Development team, which provides strategic consulting and digital transformation thought leadership in hopes of cultivating business growth through strategic partnerships with current and new clients. The Business Development team has defined 3 pillars to support client acquisition and development – 1) Client Engagement, 2) Business Function, and 3) Sales & Marketing. The Business Functions pillar is looking for a Director, Commercial Business Function SME to support in our continued growth in Commercial segment business functions.

    The applicant will own the end-to-end “offering” for current and prospective clients in the Commercial Business Function across multiple different industries (ie. Pharma, Animal Health, CPG, MedTech, Industrials, Finance, etc.).

    You will be responsible for:

    1. Lead internal development of C&F’s Offerings to client’s Commercial Business Functions

    Conduct research to determine attractive and valuable products, accelerators, and services to a “client agnostic” Commercial business function

    Create and maintain documentation on C&Fs offerings, practical solutions and methodologies within the Commercial business function

    Work with C&F delivery teams and Technology Practices to develop relevant credentials of past work, tailored towards prospective Commercial clients

    Work with C&F User Experience teams to develop demonstrable non-functional products/accelerators to serve as marketing material to prospective clients, as well as internal pipeline candidates for development

    Develop thought leadership materials and point-of-view documents

    Participate in public speaking events and publish articles in industry media

    1. Act as internal SME on the Commercial business function

    Showcase deep knowledge and experience in related Commercial business processes, regulations, solutions such as:

    Examples business fields: Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Product development and launches

    Example Solution Types: Customer 360, Consumer/Patient 360, Market Segmentation, Field Force Analytics, Customer and Product Master/Reference Management, Direct to Consumer

    Relevant Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with IT compliance standards across commercial markets (e.g. FDA, EMA, HIPPA, WHO, GxP, and others)

    Lead advancement of valuable product accelerators to continuously improve C&F’s Commercial Offering

    Investigate and manage relevant industry partnerships to strengthen offering

    1. Executive Clients and Sponsor Relationship Management

    Partner with C&F Client Engagement Team to:

    Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at strategic clients

    Provide value-add consulting with Strategic Thought Leadership leading to direct solutions

    Understand and support development of client goals, strategies, and challenges

    Facilitate client workshops and assessments to identify roadmap value enablement

    Develop the client success strategy and appropriate deliverables

    Facilitate scoping and sequencing roadmap vision

    Secure buy-in for proposed solutions from decision-making client management

    Provide guidance to technical teams on the requirements of innovative work packages

    1. People Development

    Support internal operations in sustainable growth practices and cross team collaboration

    Serve as a counselor and coach; provide input and guidance for the staffing process; actively engage in recruitment and retention activities; offer leadership and support to delivery teams and staff in local offices.

    As needed, build and manage a team of mid-level business function leads, focused on further expanding Commercial business offerings, or placed on client projects as business analysts and product owners

    What you will need:

    Must Have:

    o At least 7 years of professional experience

    o Experience within Commercial segment of a major industrial leader (Pharma, Animal, Health or CPG preferred)

    o Experience in working with Executive Level Business Stakeholders

    o Strong client focus and communication skills

    o Strong analyst skills to interpret complex data and business problems

    o Experience with Microsoft Office 365 such as PowerPoint, Excel

    Nice to Have

    o Bachelor’s degree

    o Experience in technology delivery or implementation

    o Experience with project management practices and project management software

    o Experience working with cross functional teams such as UI/UX designers, software/data engineers and end users
