    A leading technology consulting firm is seeking a Data and Analytics Director & Practice Leader to drive the strategic direction of its data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence services. This hybrid role requires at least one in-office day per week in either of our East Coast or Mountain West locations, along with regular client site travel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead data & analytics consulting projects, maintaining ~50% billable client time.
    • Define and implement the strategic direction of the data practice.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert guidance and innovative solutions.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth and expand service offerings.
    • Mentor and develop a high-performing data team.
    • Oversee project execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery within budget.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years in data engineering & analytics with experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and tools like Collibra, Informatica.
    • Proven leadership experience in a consulting or analytics practice.
    • Experience defining and bringing data service offerings to market.
    • Strong Agile mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, ML/AI.
    • Industry expertise in Financial Services or Retail.
    • Master’s degree in a relevant field.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • $150,000 – $200,000 base salary + performance-based bonus.
