    We are recruiting for a highly experienced leader in the veterinary or broader multi-site service industries to serve as its Director of DeNovos. The role will center on the direct oversight of the launch process of our new general practice veterinary hospital locations throughout the United States.

    You will join a team of successful entrepreneurs and doctors using their own capital to improve the veterinary industry. They are on a mission to partner with medical and management teams to provide the best, progressive, leading edge, compassionate care to staff, patients and clients. Their practices have industry leading medical teams, state of the art equipment, dedicated support staff and loyal customers. They are highly profitable and well positioned for growth with strong support from the ownership team.

    The ideal candidate is a highly capable manager of interdisciplinary teams involved in the construction, staffing, and operations of veterinary or other service oriented sites between 2,000-4,000 square feet. Deep experience in project management, hiring, and veterinary or other medical operations is ideal. This role is critical to the growth and success of DeNovos, ensuring that each new location is built, staffed, and operated to the highest standards. The Director of DeNovos will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this high growth company as they expand their presence nationwide.

    As Director of DeNovos, you will be responsible for:

    Project Management: Develop and implement project plans for each new hospital location, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation in partnership with Construction and Operations teams

    Team Leadership and Management: Lead and foster collaboration amongst interdisciplinary teams involved in the construction, staffing, and operational setup of new locations.

    Operational Readiness: Oversee the setup of all operational systems and processes, including equipment ordering and installation, IT infrastructure, and supply chain logistics. Ensure each location is compliant with relevant regulations and standards, including facility licensing and certification and veterinary specific requirements. Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition from construction to daily operations, including the SOPs and staff training.

    Hiring and Staffing: Lead the recruitment and hiring process for key support positions at each new location, including veterinary technicians and client service staff. Develop and implement onboarding and training programs.

    Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders including: Doctor Partners, vendors, staff, and community partners; prepare and present regular updates on project status.

    Quality Assurance: Ensure that all new locations meet the company’s standards for quality care and customer service from day one. Conduct post-launch evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous operational excellence.

    Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term strategies for added expansion. Collaborate with senior leadership to refine and improve the de novo launch process based on lessons learned from previous projects.

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    Experience: 8+ years in project management, with a focus on service-oriented site launches, preferably in the veterinary or medical industry.

    Skills: Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills; deep knowledge of construction, operations, and medical operations.

    Education: Bachelor’s degree but all experience considered. Current or former veterinarians welcome and encouraged!

    Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
