Alaska Addiction Rehabilitation Services Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care for individuals on their journey to recovery from substances. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve, and we are seeking a skilled and empathetic Director of Development, Marketing, and Communications to join our mission-driven team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, fund raising, and event planning. As the Director of Development, Marketing, and Communications you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their healing journey.

Duties

Develop and implement cost-effective fund development program involving individuals, businesses, and private foundations

Identify, cultivate, recruit, and organize fund development leaders and volunteers

Event planning and non-profit fundraising

Collaboration with stakeholders

Increase AARS revenues from both public and private sources

Responsible for overseeing AARS's online community

Develop sponsorships and community connections

Qualifications

Must have alignment with the mission, vision, and values of AARS

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in appropriate field

May have previous nonprofit management experience, which is preferred, specifically with organizations who receive funding from federal, state, and local governmental bodies

Connections with state, federal, and local providers and stakeholders

Must have professional demeanor, able to meet and communicate with political and business leaders

Must have the ability to operate excel, create power points and report writing

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment

Ability to write/manage grant proposals preferred
