Director of Digital Engagement & Community Growth
Location: Bronx, NY (In-Person, Some Field Work in NYC)
Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
Are you passionate about driving engagement, scaling digital communities, and improving lives through technology? We’re looking for a hands-on, execution-driven leader to take ownership of our social engagement platform—a groundbreaking initiative connecting homebound elderly adults through interactive TV programming, virtual social groups, and one-on-one engagement.
This is not just a strategy role—we need someone who will execute, optimize, and grow engagement. Your goal? Take our participation rate from 20% to 40%+ by understanding our audience, removing adoption barriers, and building an engaging, scalable digital community.

Key Responsibilities
Audience Growth & Engagement- Develop and execute strategies to increase engagement from 20% to 40%+.
- Identify barriers to participation and create solutions to drive adoption.
- Optimize onboarding, messaging, and programming to align with audience needs.
- Conduct user research through focus groups, home visits, and field studies.
- Oversee content programming—ensuring alignment with user interests and engagement patterns.
Platform Execution & Operations- Own day-to-day platform engagement—ensuring content and programming meet audience needs.
- Manage program schedules, interactive shows, and virtual group sessions.
- Work closely with social engagement managers and field teams to optimize programming.
- Collaborate with the technology team to enhance platform usability and accessibility.
- Ensure seamless integration between social engagement initiatives and healthcare services.
Data-Driven Optimization- Track, measure, and optimize engagement KPIs to increase participation.
- Implement iterative testing to refine messaging, scheduling, and content offerings.
- Leverage data insights, audience segmentation, and user feedback to improve retention.
- Conduct competitive analysis to position the platform effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in digital engagement, product growth, or audience development.
- Experience driving community engagement in tech, media, healthcare, or social platforms.
- Strong ability to execute and optimize initiatives, not just strategize.
- Hands-on experience in user research, audience insights, and engagement analytics.
- Ability to collaborate across marketing, product, and operations teams.
- Not required: Prior healthcare experience. While helpful, we are open to candidates from tech, gaming, digital communities, and consumer engagement sectors.
