    The Director of Events role exists to strategically plan, execute, and enhance corporate events, aligning them with the company's overarching goals.     Scope:

    The Director of Events at Sport Clips is a strategic leadership role, operating as a people manager and project manager within the organization. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, this position holds accountability for the comprehensive planning, execution, and success of a diverse range of corporate events, including National Huddle, Leadership Huddle, Coaches Huddle, Area Manager Huddle, Executive Meetings, Caravans, and internal company events. As a pivotal contributor to the company's success, the Director of Events is entrusted with significant problem-solving and judgment responsibilities, requiring a high level of strategic thinking, creativity, and the ability to navigate challenges effectively. This role embodies a balance of team leadership, project management, and strategic vision, contributing to the overall success and impact of Sport Clips' corporate events.

    Key Criteria/Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field (preferred).

    Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in progressively responsible roles within the events industry.

    Proven experience in event coordination and management, with a demonstrated portfolio of successfully executed events.

    Background in event management, preferably within the corporate or similar industry.

    Experience managing events for a large-scale organization with a national or international footprint.

    Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

    Willingness and ability to travel to events, spending 3 to 7 nights per trip, participating in up to 6 events per year.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
