Our client is a well-established and growing publicly traded organization within a fundamental sector of the economy.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and tax compliance.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage external auditor, tax advisor, and banking relationships.
• Lead and mentor the finance operations team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on financial matters.
• Implement and maintain financial systems.
• Participate in strategic planning and provide financial insights.
• Manage cash flow forecasting.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred).
• 10+ years progressive finance experience, 5+ years in a finance operations leadership role.
• Experience gained within a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Proven experience managing core finance operations functions.
• Prior experience within the construction industry is a significant plus.
• Experience in a publicly traded company environment and understanding of reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.
