    Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance & HR to join our growing team at Coastline Equity. As we expand, the Director of Finance & HR will play a critical role in managing our financial operations for our firm, subsidiaries, real estate investment clients and leading the finance department. This position requires a versatile leader with a strong background in accounting, finance, and human resources, capable of overseeing both strategic and day-to-day financial management while ensuring operational flexibility and growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee the finance department, ensuring accountability, performance, and development of team members.

    Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.

    Supervise payroll, benefits administration, and HR operations.

    Oversee insurance processes and ensure the company complies with all relevant regulations.

    Maintain strong communication with external CPAs for tax filings and financial reporting.

    Establish and refine financial procedures, compliance processes, human resource processes, and internal controls.

    Managing the financial complexity of over 150+ separate corporate entities.

    Skills & Competencies

    Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and execute financial strategies.

    Ability to navigate complex financial structures and provide insightful reporting and analysis.

    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at maintaining internal controls and compliance.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Desired Qualifications, Education & Experience

    Experience: 5-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in property management.

    Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.

    Property Management Experience: Familiarity with property management or real estate accounting practices is essential.

    Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with financial software and systems. Experience with AppFolio is a plus.

    The salary range for this position is $95k - $125k.
