    Position Overview:

    Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance - Operations to join their team. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and financial management. The ideal candidate will lead the financial operations team, ensuring alignment between financial strategy and operational execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to provide financial insights that drive productivity and efficiency.
    • Develop and implement financial processes to support operational excellence in manufacturing.
    • Lead cost control initiatives, including monitoring material costs, labor, and overhead.
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
    • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and analytics.
    • Manage financial risk and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and capital investments.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
    • 7+ years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in manufacturing.
    • Operations Management and Finance background highly preferred
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including supply chain, production, and cost management.
    • Advanced knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
    • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
    • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
    • Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
