Director of Human Resources – Global Operations
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources for Global Operations to lead HR initiatives across manufacturing operations worldwide. This role will partner with executive leadership to drive people strategies that enhance organizational performance, foster innovation, and build a high-performing, engaged workforce. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR leadership within manufacturing or similar industries, with a proven ability to navigate complex, global organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s global operational goals, ensuring a consistent approach across all regions.
Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in manufacturing and operations, providing insights and solutions to address workforce challenges.
Global Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to ensure the right talent is in place to meet operational needs.
Employee Relations: Promote a culture of trust and collaboration by addressing employee relations issues proactively and ensuring consistent practices across all locations.
Workforce Planning: Collaborate with operations leaders to forecast workforce needs and implement strategies to support growth and scalability.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Champion DEI initiatives, ensuring inclusive practices are embedded throughout global operations.
Performance Management: Lead performance management programs that drive accountability, development, and operational excellence.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all regions, mitigating risk and maintaining high ethical standards.
HR Metrics and Analytics: Utilize data to monitor HR performance, inform decision-making, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Change Management: Lead HR support for large-scale organizational changes, including expansions, restructures, and process improvements.
Operational Excellence: Partner with global HR teams to ensure seamless execution of HR operations, including compensation, benefits, and employee engagement programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
15+ years of HR leadership experience, including significant experience in manufacturing or global operations.
Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to business objectives.
Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, global HR initiatives.
Proven ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Deep understanding of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices across multiple countries.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
