    Our valued Client is a provider of post-acute care. The Director of Managed Care is responsible for overseeing the development, negotiation, and management of contracts with managed care organizations. This role focuses on negotiating fair reimbursement rates, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering strategic partnerships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Contract Negotiation:

    • Lead negotiations with managed care organizations to secure favorable terms for skilled nursing services.
    • Analyze and interpret complex contract language to ensure clarity and compliance.

    Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize managed care contracting processes.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to align contracting strategies with organizational goals.

    Financial Analysis:

    • Monitor and analyze financial performance related to managed care contracts, including revenue cycles and reimbursement trends.
    • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts to inform decision-making.

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure all contracts adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
    • Stay updated on changes in healthcare laws and policies that may impact contracting.

    Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with managed care organizations, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all managed care contracting matters.

    Performance Monitoring:

    • Track and assess the performance of managed care contracts, implementing improvements as necessary.
    • Facilitate communication between SNF operations and managed care entities to ensure service delivery meets contractual obligations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managed care contracting, with a focus on skilled nursing facilities.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and regulations.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
    • Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and relationship management.

    Salary Range:  $140K to $150K D.O.E.
