Position Overview:
The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s brand strategy and storytelling across digital and traditional marketing channels, ensuring a strong and consistent presence at local, regional, and national levels. This role leads corporate and franchise network marketing efforts, aligning strategies with business objectives to enhance brand recognition, market share, and return on advertising spend (ROAS). Key responsibilities include budget planning, media and partnership development, competitive analysis, and overseeing advertising, promotions, and marketing collateral. The Marketing Director also manages agency relationships, supervises the marketing team, and ensures all marketing initiatives drive measurable success while maintaining brand integrity and reputation.
Role and Responsibilities:
This role oversees the organization’s approved brand and storytelling through all forms of digital and traditional marketing for local, multi-market, and national audiences
Assists in creating a powerful and consistent brand presence and enhances nationwide and local/regional level market recognition
Leads the overall planning, development, and alignment of brand services to increase salience for our clients, partners, prospects, and the media
Collaborates with Senior Leadership to develop corporate and franchise network marketing and advertising budgets
Develops and oversees the corporate and strategic national franchise network marketing strategies and executes an appropriately positioned marketing plan, measuring and adapting based on channel results while also effectively monitoring and managing brand reputational risk
Develop structured plans, actions, KPIs, and further measurable metrics to ensure corporate and national franchisee network success
Monitors marketing results and takes corrective action to ensure achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated/approved budget and achieves the return on advertising spend (ROAS)
Responsible for providing marketing leadership for corporate and franchisee network to assure the attainment of business objectives including the development of long-range strategic plans, annual marketing plans, revenue forecasts, expense plans, and market share desired
Identifies and develops partnerships with businesses that assist in achieving brand power and national recognition for both corporate and the franchisee network
Identifies, develops, and maintains optimal media relationships with internal and external business partners
Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, direct mail, and tradeshows/events
Oversees the development of congruent marketing collateral including, but not limited to working documents, reference materials, guides, and campaigns for corporate and the franchisee network
Maintains competitive intelligence and adjusts offerings and marketing collateral in support of marketing campaigns
Determines agencies and suppliers of record and manages the relationships, assists with contract terms and conditions for services provided
Directly supervises employees in the Marketing Department and oversees the execution of tasks as they relate to the marketing department and its objectives. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws
Performs other duties as assigned
We're looking for hard-working, team players with:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university REQUIRED - marketing, business administration, business management majors or related field (preferred)
MBA - emphasis in marketing (highly preferred)
Franchise marketing experience (very highly preferred)+++
Strong understanding and competency in managing digital marketing campaigns, website management, SEO strategy, and paid digital platforms
Professional proven history of measurable, brand-impacting results
Growth mindset and passion for business
Strong leadership skills
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (if required)
An ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining high-quality work
