Position Summary: The Director of Marketing will report to the Vice President of Development & Estimating. They will work with teams in marketing, preconstruction services, and operations to create qualifications, proposals, and PowerPoint presentations for bids and requests.
Responsibilities:
- Discuss requests for qualifications and proposals with the Vice President of Development & Estimating to assess the company’s interest and ability to respond.
- Participate in evaluating the company’s relevant experience and personnel resources for responding to requests.
- Oversee the creation of qualifications and proposal documents, including drafting correspondence and narrative content.
- Work with Estimating and Operations teams to add estimates, schedules, site logistics plans, safety plans, and other technical details to the document.
- Partner with the Marketing Manager to finalize and prepare the document for submission to the client.
- Collaborate with Estimating and Operations teams to create PowerPoint presentation content for proposal-related presentations or client introductions.
- Manage the creation and completion of PowerPoint slide decks.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience with construction management, architectural, engineering firms, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, business, or equivalent preferred
- Motivated, goal-oriented, and focused on results
- Confident, detail-oriented, and well-organized
- Skilled at building strong relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
