Job Posting: Director of Nursing

Location: Marietta, Ohio Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview: The Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee the nursing department and ensure the highest standards of care are met for our residents. This leadership role requires a strong background in nursing management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintain a safe and effective environment.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.

Monitor and evaluate nursing practices and outcomes, making adjustments as necessary.

Manage staffing levels, schedules, and budgets for the nursing department.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among nursing staff.

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing or in a supervisory nursing role within a long-term care facility.

Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred

Current RN license in Ohio or a Compact State License.

Valid CPR certification

Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.
