    Key Responsibilities

    As the Director of Nursing, you will be at the helm of the nursing department, ensuring the highest standards of care and leadership:

    Leadership & Supervision:

    Oversee and supervise all nursing staff in the facility.

    Maintain a professional, efficient, and supportive work environment.

    Policy & Procedures:

    Develop, implement, and update nursing policies and procedures.

    Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.

    Staff Management:

    Lead the hiring, training, and retention of nursing staff.

    Monitor staff performance and support ongoing skill development.

    Operational Oversight:

    Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet resident needs.

    Address incidents and assess resident health needs effectively.

    Quality of Care:

    Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.

    Ensure resident health assessments are thorough and timely.

    Qualifications

    Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NY (required).

    5+ years of experience in long-term care nursing (required).

    2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role (required).

    Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and inspire a nursing team.

    Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
