As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Installation Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview:
Metropolitan Communications Inc. is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Director of Operations to join our dynamic team. The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of the company’s Installation and Service departments, ensuring that the departments are managed and performing efficiently and effectively. The area of responsibility for this role is extensive and thus requires knowledge of various company processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many kinds of operational activities. This individual must be an excellent leader who can discover and develop more efficient ways to run the operations. The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the Company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Operation of the Installation and Service Departments to include staffing, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and performance.
Promote a productive work environment with high employee engagement levels.
Develop and implement key performance indicators, policies, and procedures to achieve organizational goals. Identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors.
Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines and standards by which the Company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated and then identify opportunities for improvement.
Play an active role with senior management in decision-making as it pertains to efficient operation methods.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
10 Years experience in Two-Way radio, Telecommunications or related industry
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Strong supervisor and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
College Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Director of Operations in a related industry.
