    Position Summary

    The Director of Operations will play a key leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Everyday Life Consulting. This individual will be responsible for optimizing internal processes, managing cross-departmental workflows, and ensuring that all programs and initiatives are executed efficiently and align with the organization’s strategic goals. The Director will work closely with senior management to drive operational excellence and scalability, supporting the mission to foster meaningful community engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies that support the organizational mission, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality service delivery.

    Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise the operations team, including project managers, program coordinators, and support staff. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

    Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine operational workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance productivity and service quality.

    Project Oversight: Manage large-scale projects, ensuring that resources are properly allocated, timelines are met, and outcomes are aligned with organizational objectives.

    Financial Management: Work with the finance team to develop budgets, monitor operational expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

    Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices. Oversee the creation of operational reports and performance metrics.

    Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as HR, Client Services, and Community Outreach to align operational goals with program objectives.

    Vendor and Partner Relations: Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and community partners to ensure smooth operations and resource availability.

    Technology Integration: Lead efforts to integrate technology and digital tools that streamline processes, enhance communication, and improve client services.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

    Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a nonprofit or consulting setting.

    Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

    Proven experience in process optimization, project management, and budget oversight.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and implement effective solutions.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and familiarity with CRM systems.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
