    Director of Operations - Electric Power Generation - Base Salary to 170k/year - Farmingdale, NY

    • Our client, a world leader in industrial cleaning technology, is seeking a Director of Operations to manage a team and all relative departments within their Farmingdale, NY location.
    • In this role, the Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing various departments such as service, accounting, sales, etc. The Director of Operations will also manage a team, travel to other locations, and ensure project completion.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage staff and assigns tasks to various departments
    • Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes
    • Oversee project logistics and resource allocation
    • Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs
    • Secures the resources needed for teams to excel
    • Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies
    • Attends trade shows, conferences, and makes site visits to suppliers’ facilities
    • Communicates technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers
    • Collaborates with other team leaders and departments
    • Forges and maintains relationships with suppliers and customers

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of experience in Operations Management
    • Mechanical Aptitude
    • Proven experience with projects, project completion, and contract review
    • Experience in running teams of 10-20+ people preferred
    • Must be local to Farmingdale, NY or willing to relocate
