    Position Overview: The Director of Operations & Logistics with CFO Responsibilities will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our logistics infrastructure, managing driver and fleet operations, route planning, and coordinating with production teams to ensure efficient delivery. This role will also encompass part-time CFO duties, ensuring financial oversight and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in logistics, operations, and accounting, with proven experience in managing complex supply chains and financial processes.

    Key Responsibilities: 1. Logistics Management: • Design and optimize delivery routes to support the transition from a four-day delivery schedule to a daily distribution schedule starting in January. • Coordinate the allocation and usage of delivery vans, ensuring optimal coverage for all scheduled routes. • Oversee driver hiring, training, and scheduling, ensuring that all drivers adhere to company standards for safety and efficiency. • Manage real-time adjustments for online orders, recommending and facilitating their integration into delivery schedules. 2. Operational Leadership: • Serve as the main point of contact for coordinating order fulfillment, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to approximately 300 stores. • Communicate with the production team to align delivery needs with production capacity, ensuring that all products are picked up and transported efficiently. • Monitor and improve operational workflows, ensuring that processes are both economically and logistically sound. 3. Financial Oversight (CFO Duties): • Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to monitor outstanding invoices, follow up on overdue accounts, and ensure timely payment collection. • Oversee budget planning for logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective route management and vehicle utilization. • Implement financial controls and strategies to maximize profitability and operational efficiency. • Provide regular financial reporting to senior management, highlighting key metrics and recommendations for improvement. 4. Team Coordination: • Act as the hub for communication between different departments, including production, logistics, and finance. • Ensure the seamless flow of orders from all channels, coordinating with internal teams to maintain accuracy and timeliness. • Support cross-functional training and knowledge sharing to enhance overall operational capacity.

    Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field with strong financial/accounting responsibilities. • Strong understanding of route planning, fleet management, and operational logistics. • Experience managing financial operations, including budgeting, cost analysis, and accounts receivable. • Proficiency with logistics and accounting software tools. • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. • A background in mapping and geographical logistics is highly desirable.
