Developmental Brain Injury Services (DBIS) Residential Programs - Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin County Fulltime Position Starting salary $60,000+
Position Summary: The Director of Operations provides support functions to the DBIS administrative team and residential programs of DBIS.
Position Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Vice President or Division Director, provides support, guidance, quality assurance, continuous quality improvement and planning for the operations of the programs within the division.
In conjunction with the clinical team, manages the logistics of new admissions and residential placements.
Sets up the physical operations for new residences/programs. The DO may search for and locate new sites within the division, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met.
Participates in the Residential team on projects and development of Residential Services.
Works closely with Program Directors and staff in preparation for licensing and ensures regulatory compliance and follow-up in responding to deficiencies as they arise.
Provides fiscal oversight to ensure Program Directors operate within their budgets.
Ensures best customer relationships internally and externally. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with clients, customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Acts as a team builder, supporter, and player with integrity and loyalty. Acts as a role-model by demonstrating dedication to the organization's mission and goals
On-call responsibilities included in the position.
Other duties as assigned by the Vice President or his/her designee.
Qualifications:
Experience working with the DBIS population
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field and/or three years full-time experience working with people who live with developmental delays and/or brain injuries.
3-5yrs experience management experience.
Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.
Valid Driver's License and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Certified in Medication Administration under MA MAP guidelines.
