The Sawmill Sports Hub is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations of our facility. This role will also include the oversite of the concessions and food and beverage services. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams and projects.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and facility management.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
Manage budgets and financial planning for operations.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive operations.
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Train and supervise staff
Coordinate with vendors for supplies and services.
Evaluate operational performance and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Hospitality Management or related field.
Must have or be willing to quickly get a CFPM [certified food service manager] license.
5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a sports facility.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of safety and health regulations.
Knowledge of food safety regulations.
