    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Patient Services (DPS) with a strong background in homecare leadership. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the operational and clinical aspects of our homecare services, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients while driving continuous improvements in patient satisfaction, staff performance, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of leadership experience in homecare, with proven expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams, optimizing service delivery, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Leadership and Staff Management:

      • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of homecare professionals, including nurses, care coordinators, therapists, and support staff.
      • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance employee engagement and retention.
      • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for team members.
      • Ensure adequate staffing levels and that staff meet performance and quality standards.
    2. Patient Care and Quality Assurance:

      • Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring compliance with individualized care plans, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
      • Collaborate with clinical teams to evaluate and improve patient outcomes, enhancing the overall patient experience.
      • Ensure that care is delivered in accordance with the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
      • Monitor and address any issues related to patient care, ensuring timely resolutions.
    3. Operational Management:

      • Develop and implement strategies to streamline operational workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality care.
      • Manage budgets for patient services and ensure that resources are allocated effectively.
      • Review and analyze key performance metrics and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
      • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operational, clinical, and financial data to senior leadership.
    4. Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation:

      • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare laws and industry standards.
      • Lead efforts to maintain and renew accreditations and certifications, including Joint Commission, ACHC, and CMS compliance.
      • Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with regulatory requirements.
      • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
    5. Strategic Planning and Program Development:

      • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for growth, service enhancement, and patient satisfaction.
      • Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in homecare.
      • Develop and implement new services or programs to address patient needs and market opportunities.
    6. Community and Stakeholder Engagement:

      • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, physicians, and community organizations.
      • Participate in marketing and outreach initiatives to promote homecare services within the community.
      • Ensure excellent communication between patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in homecare, including at least 5 years in a senior management or director role.
    • Licensure/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Homecare or healthcare administration certification preferred.
    • Skills:
      • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentorship and staff development.
      • Extensive knowledge of homecare regulations, quality assurance, and best practices.
      • Proven track record of improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
      • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
