The Director of Patient Services will be responsible for leading and overseeing the nursing staff within our home care agency. This role requires a strong leader who is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring operational efficiency. The Director will collaborate with other departments to promote integrated service delivery and maintain the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and management of nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and agency policies.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and effective communication among all staff members.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and support to nursing staff, emphasizing professional development and skill enhancement.
- Address and resolve any staffing or patient care issues promptly and effectively, maintaining a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient services and operational effectiveness, including care coordination with interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient care metrics and outcomes to identify areas for improvement, implementing evidence-based practices to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in home care or healthcare settings, with a focus on leadership and team management.
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in patient care practices, including case management and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
