    Job Summary:

    The Director of Pediatric Group Operations will oversee the daily operations and strategic initiatives of our physician group practice. This leader will collaborate closely with medical group leaders, front-line managers, and staff to enhance patient care, optimize financial performance, and ensure high patient and employee satisfaction. In partnership with medical staff leadership, this individual will develop and implement business plans, manage annual budgets, and lead process improvement efforts to promote high-value performance.

    Essential Skills & Qualifications:

    • Proven leadership ability with a track record of success in group/clinic operations.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills.
    • Experience mentoring, training, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • Expertise in negotiation, confrontation resolution, and facilitation.
    • Strong computer proficiency and organizational skills.
    • Financial management and performance improvement capabilities.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience managing physician practices or clinics.
    • Demonstrated success in managing and motivating high-performing teams.
    • Experience with budgeting, contract negotiations, and business plan development.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Formal Lean Training/Certification.
    • Experience in contract negotiation.
    • Knowledge of medical billing practices.
    • Previous management experience within a pediatric medical group.
