    FACTS ABOUT NORTH CENTRAL: Opened in 2005, 14 Operating Rooms and 30 Medical/Surgical Patient Rooms. We are conveniently located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the prestigious North Park area. Specialties include: Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, and Podiatry surgeries. Managed by United Surgical Partners International & Joint Commission Accredited.

    The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals. The Director identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Director works with Senior Management in meeting Facility goals.

    Required Skills

    Requirements:

    • Five (5) years hospital pharmacy experience
    • Two (2) years experience in a supervisory capacity
    • Current license to practice pharmacy
    • Demonstrate competent administrative, leadership and management, demonstrating knowledge of the development needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
    • Knowledge of Joint Commission and Medicare standards affecting pharmacy
    • Must possess ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with all types of personnel, medical staff and the public
    • Possess the ability to make independent decisions
    • Must have ability to act as liaison between personnel and management
