    We've teamed up with a client company that is an international leader in the design, manufacturer, and supplier of water (potable & waste) treatment equipment, filtration and technologies and they are seeking a Project Management Director to lead and enhance the capabilities of the project management team. This Houston based role emphasizes a hands-on leadership approach, fostering accountability and delivering measurable results in project management excellence.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Strategic Leadership: Develops and implements departmental goals, policies, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project execution.
    • Project Oversight: Manages a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and scopes from quoting to warranty phases.
    • Team Development: Provides coaching, resource planning, and performance management to foster a high-performing team.
    • Financial Accountability: Oversees P&L, revenue forecasts, and cost structures while ensuring financial goals are met.
    • Collaboration: Chairs project review meetings, drives visibility through KPIs, and supports an inclusive, results-driven culture.
    • Operational Excellence: Monitors job costs, schedules, and manufacturing activities while ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
    Qualifications:
    • Proven success in leading project execution teams and driving performance improvements.
    • Expertise in stakeholder management and financial metrics, including cash flow and cost forecasting.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills in fast-paced environments.
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, MBA highly preferred.
    • PMP certification or the ability to obtain it.
    Work Environment:

    Hybrid remote and on site schedule based in Houston with occasional travel to other US manufacturing sites to maintain consistency in team culture and performance standards.
