  • Responsibilities

    Project Manager – Real Estate Development
    Glades Talent is working with a leading multi-strategy real estate investment firm seeking a driven Project Manager to oversee complex development and construction projects. This role involves direct collaboration with senior partners and managing projects across diverse sectors such as industrial, multi-family, and data centers. Based in Washington, D.C., the position requires regular travel to Southeast U.S. markets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage full project lifecycles: acquisition, entitlement, design, financing, construction, turnover, and stabilization.
    • Develop and oversee project proformas, budgets, and schedules.
    • Liaise with government officials, agencies, and community groups to secure entitlements.
    • Direct project teams, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
    • Provide construction and design oversight to maintain quality and compliance with plans/specifications.
    • Participate in weekly construction meetings, monitor progress, and prepare owner punch lists.
    • Coordinate permitting, utility connections, and related approvals.
    • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and value engineering processes.
    • Prepare and submit bank reconciliations and loan draw requests.
    • Facilitate due diligence for new building acquisitions.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant commercial real estate experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of the real estate development process, priorities, and risks.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities for complex, multidisciplinary challenges.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with financial partners, tenants, consultants, and contractors.
