Job Summary:
DRYmedic® Restoration Services is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Reconstruction to join their team. As a leading provider of disaster restoration services with over 20 years of expertise, DRYmedic is dedicated to efficiently restoring properties to their pre-loss condition.
Role responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
Works with Coordinator to assign new leads to Production Team and Estimator.
Supervisor of all Reconstruction employees and all Reconstruction production
Communicates with Recruiting team to recruit new, existing, and replacement roles.
Interviews and qualifies candidates for proper roles; negotiates base compensation package with new hires.
Supervise all Production to make sure the files are on track to be completed correctly.
Works with all team members to ensure accountability of accounting functions, including Supplementals, Change Orders, and initial and final collections.
Leads weekly Department Production Meeting to discuss multi-departmental jobs.
Solicits new trade contractors for Production Team utilization. Works with in-house Marketing Manager on targeting specific trades needed.
Continuously develops and maintains relationships with existing set of subcontractors and manages subcontractor list.
Works with Materials Coordinator to establish and grow relationships with all outside suppliers.
Works with Department directors to evaluate all mitigation projects for potential reconstruction sale.
Contacts/Converses with customers when necessary
Contacts/Converses with adjusters when necessary
Performs site visits as needed.
Addresses and resolves customer issues.
Resolves employee issues/disciplinary actions.
Responsible for submitting timecards, monitoring overtime, and time off requests.
Responsible for approving Concur reports.
Responsible for picking up payment from customers.
Role qualifications:
Strong problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail
Insurance restoration background within Mitigation and Reconstruction Management
Proficient in industry specific software including Dash and Xactimate
Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Calendar, composing emails, QuickBooks etc.
Industry specific certifications preferred: IICRC (Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification), WTR, ASD, ARMT, FSRT, OCT, HST, CCT, UFT, CRT, RRT
