Position Title: Director of Retail Products and Supply Support
Job Summary: The Director of Retail Products and Supply Support is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle within the retail environment. This includes product production, ordering, supply chain management, inventory control, and ensuring the availability of products to meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management:
Implement purchase models for packaging, raw materials, and finished products.
Provide guidance on production and ordering needs based on business cycles.
Lead organization in implementing new retail product launches.
Track all inventory transfers between locations and commissary.
Supply Chain Management:
Implement efficient supply chain processes to ensure timely ordering of products.
Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
Operational Efficiency:
Streamline and optimize supply operations to enhance efficiency.
Implement best practices for inventory management, order placement, and supply chain logistics across locations.
Identify and address operational bottlenecks to improve overall performance.
Team Leadership:
Build and lead a high-performing team.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets related to product production and supply chain operations.
Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other relevant departments to align product strategies with overall business objectives.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, project management, or a related field.
Experience desired, but willing to train individuals with the right skills.
Strong technology skills across a variety of programs.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with retail industry trends and consumer behavior.
Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
On-Call availability
Dexterity of hands and fingers
Able to work in spaces with high levels of noise and temperatures.
Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
Will occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel or crouch.
