    Director of Healthcare Revenue Cycle - Las Vegas, NV (Onsite)

    Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Healthcare Revenue Cycle to lead and optimize all aspects of our revenue cycle operations. This full-time, onsite role in Las Vegas, NV, requires a strategic leader with a robust background in healthcare consulting and revenue cycle management. The ideal candidate will excel in navigating complex billing regulations, ensuring compliance, and driving revenue cycle efficiencies. This position will serve as a key liaison between our organization and our medical billing partners, fostering collaboration and innovation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leadership & Management: Oversee the daily operations of the revenue cycle department, including hiring, training, and developing a high-performing team.
    • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with COOs and other senior leaders to enhance revenue cycle processes, improve quality outcomes, and support client onboarding.
    • Revenue Optimization: Manage and maximize billing revenue, ensuring timely filing and resolution of denied/rejected claims.
    • Claims Management: Oversee claims submissions through various systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • System & Process Improvement: Identify and resolve system issues, develop SOPs, and implement best practices to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.
    • Compliance & Auditing: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with billing regulations and standards, and provide technical expertise for new services.
    • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor A/R aging, payment trends, and provide monthly updates on revenue cycle performance.
    • Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Practice Management System vendors and engage with healthcare providers, payers, and team members to resolve issues and implement improvements.
    • Credentialing & Special Projects: Oversee physician credentialing and lead special projects to drive departmental success.
    • Mentorship & Culture Building: Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence within the team.

    Qualifications:

    Location: Must reside in the Las Vegas area.

    Education: Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years in medical billing and revenue cycle management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical billing software, EHR systems, and familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
    • Communication & Collaboration: Strong skills in engaging with diverse stakeholders and leading multidisciplinary teams.
    • Problem-Solving & Innovation: Ability to independently drive strategic initiatives and improvements.
