As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Representative to join our dynamic team and serve as an ambassador of EverLine, adhering to our DRIVEN values.
As a Director of Sales, you will play a critical role in driving our company’s business by developing new relationships and nurturing existing ones to boost sales and market presence in the designated territory. This position requires a strategic professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and is committed to achieving sales targets.
The ideal candidate must have asphalt and maintenance sales experience to fully understand the role requirements and necessary connections needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Development: Identify potential new clients through research, networking, and cold-calling to increase customer base and achieve sales targets.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Act as the primary point of contact and manage individual client accounts.
Territory Management: Develop a territory plan that ensures the attainment of personal and business goals, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives and DRIVEN values to provide accurate representation of the company.
Market Analysis: Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
Product Expertise: Gain a thorough understanding of our services and operations to offer tailored solutions to clients.
Reporting: Provide reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Submit sales activity reports and updates to management and maintain clean, updated records for all leads and customers.
Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate with management frequently to generate leads and sales.
Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in asphalt/maintenance sales
In-depth knowledge on asphalt and related industries
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role; candidates with a diploma or a degree in related fields are considered an asset
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectations
Ability to problem solve effectively and anticipate customer reservations or inquiries
Strong work ethic with the drive to attain and exceed targets
Candidates must have a Class 5 driver’s license and be able to provide a clean driver’s abstract
Additional Notes:
EverLine will provide this role with a company laptop and cellphone. A company vehicle will be provided when commuting is required. This role starts with 3 weeks vacation and benefits available after the probationary period. Pay structure is to be determined and the final candidate will be provided the opportunity to assist in creating their own pay structure. Hours will be based on workload, with overtime and weekend work required as applicable.
