Director of Service Sales - Transportation - Base Salary to 175/year - Richmond, VA

• Our client is a highly specialized provider of world-class power generation equipment sales, parts, rentals and services for commercial, institutional and government customers.
• They are looking for a Director of Service Sales who will be responsible for managing all On-Highway, Power Generation, Industrial, Marine Service Sales activities.

Responsibilities:

• Train and supervise a team of outside Service sales representatives to ensure a unified sales force.
• Establish and track clear sales objectives and work with team members to achieve goals.
• Create a distinct sales process and marketing strategies for outside Service sales personnel to follow.
• Maintain and expand customer base by counseling sales team, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.
• Work with local Service Managers to provide inside sales training and execute on sales growth strategies.
• Review Service Department On-Highway sales reporting information with the Service Managers to identify opportunities and issues regarding performance against goals and budget.

Qualifications:

• Service Sales experience is required
• 5+ years’ people management experience
• Commercial truck or fleet experience

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 150k - 175k/ year range
• Incentives up to 60k
