    Job Summary:

    PRN Physical Therapy is seeking a strategic, results oriented Senior Director of Project Management Office (PMO) to lead our project management efforts across the organization. This individual will be responsible for setting up and managing a central PMO to support strategic initiatives, optimize project delivery, and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will drive standardization, best practices, and alignment across multiple projects and functions, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute high impact initiatives that advance PRN’s strategic goals.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    1\. PMO Strategy and Leadership

    • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the PMO, aligning with PRN’s business objectives and long-term vision.
    • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve project management standards, methodologies, processes, and governance to ensure effective execution of projects across the organization.
    • Define PMO metrics, KPIs, and reporting structures to assess project performance and impact on organizational goals.

    2\. Project Planning and Execution

    • Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of all critical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
    • Manage project prioritization, resource allocation, and capacity planning across multiple functional areas to maximize the utilization of resources and project outcomes.
    • Anticipate and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

    3\. Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with department leaders, regional directors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational priorities.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams to promote knowledge sharing, risk identification, and successful execution.
    • Serve as a point of contact for executives regarding project progress, adjustments, and key decisions.

    4\. Team Development and Leadership

    •  
    • Build, lead, and mentor a high performing project management team capable of delivering against the company’s goals.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO by encouraging innovation and professional development among team members.

    5\. Budget Management and Financial Oversight

    • Manage the PMO budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with financial targets.
    • Support project teams in developing budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
    • 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in healthcare, physical therapy, or a multisite service organization.
    • Strong expertise in PMO management, project portfolio management, and the implementation of project management standards and frameworks (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
    • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional project leadership and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
    • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience in healthcare or physical therapy industries is a plus.
    • Proven ability to implement change management principles and drive process improvement initiatives.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools, with knowledge of the latest trends in project management.

    Travel:

    Up to 50% Travel required for market visits, key meetings and similar responsibilities.
