We are seeking our next RN Director of Women's health to manager the nursing of the Labor and Delivery and Women's health sections of our hospital in Mayfield. Our hospital is located in stunning western Kentucky, just a short drive to Kentucky Lake to the east, the Ohio River to the north, and the Mississippi River to the west. What you will be doing?
Directing the Women's Services activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
Developing and implementing departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Directing and evaluating departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Planning and monitoring staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Preparing, monitoring, and evaluating departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
Coordinating and directing internal/external audits.
Integrating evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Acting as resource for staff regarding obstetrical concerns and/or neonate concerns.
How to get a fast interview?
Associate’s Degree in Nursing is Required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing will earn a fast interview, especially those with relevant Women's Health experiences.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
