Job Description
We are looking for Caregivers, ready to provide quality in-home care and transportation with a wheelchair accessible van, but also to develop an enriching meaningful relationship with our clients.
For this unique role, we are looking for 1-2 Providers that are available Monday – Friday, for shifts mainly during evenings and overnight (4:00 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.) as need it.
The individual attends a day program during the day, and care is needed for evenings: hours are from 3:30pm to 6:30pm every two weeks at zip code 77019

Responsibilities
Provide in-home care with a compassionate and caring attitude
Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Help with preparing and serving meals, light housekeeping, and laundry
Help with changing adult diapers
Assist with transportation using client's wheelchair accessible van
Assist clients with social activities
Assist in transferring Hoyer lift as needed
Update office staff on client progress as needed
Qualifications
Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
Experience with providing care for those with autism
Experience with using a wheelchair accessible van
Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB tests
Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team
Must be able to provide verification of any certifications held
