We are seeking remote Software QA Analyst for a 1+ year project. Position may work 100% remotely with occasional (once a quarter travel to client site). This role is open to remote applicants however applicants MUST HAVE prior experience within State government AND with Disability Insurance Systems. Responsibilities:
· Position may work 100% remotely with occasional (once a quarter travel to client site, if required by our client). In this case travel and hotel will be reimbursed.
· Candidate MUST possess at least 5+ years of Disability Insurance System’s Quality Assurance experience – The Software QA Analyst will work as a skilled Disability Insurance Benefit Systems QA Specialist with a focus on assuring Disability Insurance System’s Software Quality to support Disability Insurance Modernization Project.
· Selected candidate WILL collaborate with QA team Lead and client Manager(s) to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance are met throughout SDLC.
· Design and develop comprehensive a) test scenarios, b) test cases / scripts c) with detailed multi (step-by-step) script execution details that are clearly understandable to peer-testers and client (test execution team, Supervisors and Managers), that are repeatable and adheres to established test script standards.
· To support testing activities, candidate must be able to create and maintain Quality Assurance artifacts such as Develop Testing Standards, Test Plans, Test Execution Metrics etc.
· Execute various levels of testing, including Integration testing, System (Functional) Testing, System Acceptance, and Regression testing.
· Hands-On experience on Jira or HP-ALM software to document incidents / defects and validate after defect resolution
· Must be able to work with test peers, client technicians and create test data, execute, and maintain tests and tests scripts
· Review test scripts for completeness and accuracy
· Must be able to participate in product design discussions (JADs) and reviews and provide input on the functional requirements and able to bring up issues, and/or risks
· Must participate and adhere to QA testing standards, test plans and guidelines
Mandatory / Required Skills:
· Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or similar work experience in relevant field
· MUST POSSESS at least 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance for Disability Insurance System
· MUST POSSESS strong understanding of Disability Insurance Program
· MUST HAVE experience in conducting quality assurance on Disability Insurance Systems
· MUST BE PROFICIENT in Agile or hybrid Agile methodologies
· MUST possess comprehensive understanding of the lifecycle process of Quality Assurance.
· MUST have knowledge in SOAP UI and POSTMAN
· MUST have experience in testing applications built either on a) Salesforce or b) AWS or c) Mainframe technologies
· MUST have strong written and verbal communications
· MUST be solid in building working relationships w peers and client

· Be able to demonstrate ability to develop and document processes clearly and effectively
· Be able to enjoy working with people in a collaborative environment (even though remote work)
· It would be an advantage if candidate can write and speak in Spanish
