  • Responsibilities

    Requirements: • Extensive knowledge of Disability Insurance products • Ability to effectively collaborate with other advisors • Specialize in DI sales through partnerships with financial professionals • Provide guidance to increase sales and spot business growth opportunities • At least 3 years of experience in Disability Insurance sales within a risk management and planning context Active Life and Health insurance license Compensation and Benefits: • Competitive package including base salary, bonuses, commissions, and benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, and retirement savings plan • Base salary determined by experience with performance-based incentives Responsibilities: • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling, email campaigns and networking • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients • Identify business and individual markets for lead generation and business development • Provide training and collaborate for joint work opportunities with other advisors Qualifications: • Valid L&H insurance license required • Series 7, 66 or 63/65 required • Ability to prospect and generate leads and close sales • Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs • Enjoys working independently with strong time management and organizational skills • 4+ years selling disability insurance as part of a balanced risk management or benefits package. Compensation: $120,000 at plan commission
