Promote and sell Franchise services in assigned territory, which results in meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals with a focus on disaster recovery sales (ie. 24 hour emergency response services). Grow and develop customer base within the first responder community by utilizing a systematic process to identify new prospects and cultivate relationships by routinely contacting, visiting, and attending frequent meetings. Use marketing materials like SERVPRO® Key Differentiators and Emergency Ready Plan to market SERVPRO® services and to sell the benefits. Provide and communicate clear and accurate pretesting, scoping of services, and job estimates. Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs, ensuring customer needs are met.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Respond to any fire/water emergencies (24 hours per day)
Regular meeting attendance
Continuing education and coaching with Manager
Daily contact preparations and job referral activity
Daily priorities planning
Reporting & Administration
Execute Contact Business Development Cycle
Document Progress
Develop sales objectives
Debrief with Manager
Execute referral and client appreciation activities
Conduct ERP (Emergency Readiness Program) presentations
Regular client visits and follow-up to develop a referral base within first responder and contactor community
Entertainment & Events with first responder and contractor community
Coordinate continuing education events for clients
Coordinate marketing & entertainment events
Professional association participation within first responder community
Necessary Experience and Skill Set:
· Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector preferred
· Superb sales, customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and process/results driven attitude
· Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired
· Working knowledge of current business software technologies desired
Formal Education/Training:
· Fire and water certifications preferred
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
This is a field-based role with some office duties required. This role routinely responds to water and fire emergency in order to assist customers in their time of need. This job requires the ability to work with production teams to ensure high-quality and timely services for our customers. Travel is up to 90%, primarily local, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position working various hours. This position may require longer hours, and some flexibility in hours may be needed dependent upon the business needs. Being a self-starter with excellent time management skills is essential for this role.
