OVERVIEW OF ROLE: The Arthur’s Dishwasher helps keep the restaurant and kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all equipment and supplies are cleaned, sanitized, and organized. No experience is required for this position. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide assistance in the kitchen as needed, especially during peak times. • Operate industrial dishwasher. • Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary. • Empty and clean all trash receptacles. • Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources. • Clean dish storage. • Follow sanitization policies at all times. • Perform opening, closing and side work. • Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately. • Report any sanitization or janitorial issues. • Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • High level of professionalism. • Excellent verbal communication skills. • Strong teamwork skills. • Strong organizational skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Past dishwasher or casual dining restaurant experience is a plus, but not necessary. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to lift and carry at least thirty (30) pounds. • Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping. • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Compensation: Starting at $15 an hour
