Position Overview: This position plays an essential role in ensuring that our production facility remains clean and that our equipment is in top-notch condition. This role is crucial in upholding the hygiene standards and safety of Newport Bakers.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean, dry, and return all utensils, storage containers, and small equipment to their designated storage locations.

Disassemble large equipment for thorough cleaning and lay out parts to dry overnight.

Mop and clean floors in the production, packaging, and cleaning areas at the end of each shift.

Clean and maintain the employee restroom, ensuring it meets health and safety standards. (This task is to be done strictly at the end of the shift.)

Adhere to all company safety and hygiene protocols.

Using proper sanitization methods, in wash room. Role requires spray down of equipment.

Qualifications:

Experience with or ability to operate and use cleaning equipment and hand-cleaning tools.

Skills in disassembling and reassembling machinery and equipment.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable standing for extended periods, up to 2 hours uninterrupted.

Ability to work efficiently in a wet environment and on wet surfaces.

Previous experience in sanitation or equipment maintenance is a plus.
