Job Title: Dishwasher

Position Overview
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for plates, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This role supports the kitchen and service staff by ensuring that dishes, kitchen areas, and equipment are kept clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
Sweep and scrub floors to maintain a clean kitchen environment.
Set up dishwashing stations and ensure adequate supply of cleaning detergents.
Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as needed.
Monitor and report any equipment issues to the Kitchen Manager.
Ensure all sanitation and health regulations are followed at all times.
Qualifications
No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods (4-8 hours).
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds safely.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
The Dishwasher role requires frequent standing, bending, and moving in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role also requires handling cleaning agents, working in wet conditions, and lifting heavy items. Flexibility with scheduling is required, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
