DISHWASHER AND UTILITY – Full Time
Nothing Bundt Cakes (Tulsa) is open Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 7:00PM, Saturdays from 10:00AM to 6:00PM, and Sundays from 11:00AM to 4:00PM. We are located in South Tulsa at 7890 E. 106th Place, Tulsa OK 74133 in The Vineyard shopping center.

The Nothing Bundt Cakes Dishwasher/Utility plays an essential role in ensuring a smooth, efficient and guest-ready operation by meeting high-volume dishwashing demands and maintaining a clean, sanitized bakery. The Nothing Bundt Cakes Dishwasher/Utility also assists the baking team as needed to ensure production needs are met and maintained.
Education and Work Requirements:
Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
No experience necessary. We will train on site.
Previous experience within a bakery or restaurant kitchen setting is a plus.
Must obtain a food handler’s permit once hired.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manually washes, rinses and sanitizes all baking pans, dishes, utensils and other tools in a thorough and timely manner and adheres to all Nothing Bundt Cakes and local health department standards.
Monitors sanitization levels to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Gathers and removes garbage, sweeps and mops floors, and cleans floor drains.
Performs routine cleaning of various locations within the bakery including, but not limited to: refrigerator, chiller, break area, dish pit area, oven, and bathroom as needed.
Maintains a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation, ensuring all cleaning supplies are sufficiently prepared for the start and end of each shift.
Monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies management in a timely manner when replenishment is required.
Assists in the unloading, processing, and storage of the weekly supply delivery.
Supports other team members in cleaning and organizing workstations as needed.
Complies with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures, including strict adherence to personal hygiene.
Assists the baking team as needed when all tasks in the dish pit area have been completed.
Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
Work Availability:
Must have the availability to work 35-40 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, Monday-Friday, between 9:30AM and 5:00PM.
Must be able to work additional hours during the holiday season as needed: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Can understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents such as operating procedures and health and safety rules, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
Has the ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the use of the arms, hands and fingers in a repetitive motion.
Has the ability and strength to lift items of moderate to heavy weight frequently (up to 50lbs).
Has the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Is meticulous about maintaining a clean, organized and sanitized workstation.
Has a strong attention to detail with the ability to adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
Is diligent, organized and self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
