Responsible for handling a high-volume Personal Injury caseload from start to finish including the preparation of legal documents, FOIA requests, client interaction on the phone, via email, and in person, providing a high level of customer service to clients, preparing demand packages, being the main point of contact between the insurance company, attorney, and client, resolving liens and bills with medical providers, and other miscellaneous projects. Responsibility of all staff: • Returning all voicemails within a 48-hour window (business days). • Responding to emails in a timely manner. • Working with all staff in a professional and kind manner. • Providing clients with a positive experience and maintaining a good, professional relationship with them at all times. • Corresponding with the front desk to ensure clients are responded to in a timely fashion. Responsibilities: • Preparing legal documents that are sent to insurance companies and opposing counsel. • Providing customer service on the phone, in person, via email, and through other means. • Returning phone calls and voicemails in a 24-hour turnaround period. • Returning emails in a timely manner. • Scanning, uploading, and adding mail to our Case Management Database. • Maintaining files in a neat and organized manner. • Preparing demand packages for submission to insurance companies and/or opposing counsel. • Printing medical bills, records, and other documents for attorneys. • Maintaining confidentiality of all documents. • Resolving liens and medical bills with medical providers, insurance companies, and other personnel. • Meeting with clients in the office. • Disbursing settlement checks to clients. • Providing support to attorneys, the office manager, and other office personnel. • Filling in for the Receptionist, Mail Clerks, and other office positions upon their absence. • Adding faxes to our Case Management system and emailing them out to office staff/attorneys. • Completing daily and weekly tasks. Qualifications: • Able to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. • Physically able to perform duties assigned at sufficient speed. • Effective communication skills. • Able to work well with others. • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. • Computer and database expertise. • Functional skills in reading and writing English. Compensation: $18/hour
