Medical Summary Analysts are responsible for printing, compiling, analyzing, and summarizing medical bills and records for submission to attorneys. Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities: • Printing medical bills, medical records, police reports, photographs, and wage loss verification information for attorneys. • Analyzing and summarizing medical records into a report format for attorneys. • Providing an evaluation on medical treatment and opinions on information being related and/or non-related to the occurrence at hand. • Flagging potential issues in medical records, i.e. short-term disability, unrelated treatment, mental health information, social security numbers, etc. • Requesting clarification or additional information from the appropriate personnel. • Completing summaries in a timely manner. • Producing 15 or more summaries on a weekly basis. Minimum/Required Qualifications: • Able to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. • Physically able to perform duties assigned at sufficient speed. • Effective communication skills. • Able to work well with others. • Able to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment. • Computer and database expertise. • Functional skills in reading and writing English. Responsibility of all staff: • Returning all voicemails within a 48-hour window (business days). • Responding to emails in a timely manner. • Working with all staff in a professional and kind manner. • Providing clients with a positive experience and maintaining a good, professional relationship with them at all times. • Answering phone calls from and communicating with the front desk for the betterment of our clients. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work in an office environment and the noise level is usually moderate.
