Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating daily driver routes based on new and existing orders, maintaining clear communication with drivers throughout the day, and ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. This role involves close collaboration with the sales team and driver manager, along with providing support to the sales lead when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and adjust daily driver routes to meet customer demands and optimize efficiency.

• Maintain ongoing communication with drivers to address issues, updates, or route changes.

• Collaborate with the sales team and driver manager to resolve scheduling conflicts or operational challenges.

• Assist the sales lead with customer service tasks, including answering phone calls, taking orders, and entering orders into the system.

• Monitor and address any service-related issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate records of routes, orders, and communications.

• Prepare and maintain compliance records for DOT/FMCSA.

• Prepare documentation for registration and renewal of company vehicles.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics and dispatching preferred.

• Proficiency in using dispatching software and general office applications.

• Familiarity with the Savannah, GA area is a plus.
