Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and skilled Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will receive emergency and non-emergency calls and make quick decisions to ensure the proper action is taken. The ideal candidate is highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and dispatch service technicians to customer locations in a timely manner.
Manage the scheduling of appointments and communicate effectively with both technicians and customers.
Communicate effectively with technicians, clients, and vendors to address any issues or changes in schedules.
Handle incoming calls from customers, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of service calls, customer interactions, and technician locations.
Work closely with the sales and installation teams to ensure smooth operations.
Perform data entry tasks related to service requests.
Monitor the performance/progress of each job and update customers on status as needed.
Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while interacting with customers and team members.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar position
Excellent typing and data entry skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Familiarity with computer systems and dispatch software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Ability to adapt quickly
Positive and friendly attitude
Geographical knowledge of service area
