    Job Summary: At OVC Plumbing & Drain, we don’t just fix pipes; we connect with people. We are searching for a professional and enthusiastic Dispatcher to be the heartbeat of our operations. In this role, you’ll take charge of coordinating plumbing service calls, managing schedules, and ensuring customers receive nothing less than stellar service.

    Responsibilities:

    Receive, document, and prioritize incoming calls for plumbing service requests, including emergency and non-emergency situations.

    Utilize Housecall Pro software to schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians for maximum efficiency.

    Communicate service details clearly to technicians and provide updates throughout the workday to keep everyone aligned.

    Skillfully prioritize multiple service calls, ensuring resources are allocated effectively based on urgency and availability.

    Engage with customers to address inquiries and ensure transparency regarding service timelines and technician arrivals.

    Monitor and track the status of dispatched technicians and provide timely updates to customers and management.

    Accurately record service call details for follow-up and record-keeping purposes.

    Represent OVC Plumbing & Drain professionally at trade shows and during customer visits, building strong relationships with clients and partners.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or GED required.

    Previous experience as a Dispatcher, preferably in plumbing or a related field (training provided for the right candidate).

    Familiarity with scheduling and dispatching software, such as Housecall Pro.

    Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Highly organized and capable of multitasking with precision.

    A customer-service mindset, making every client interaction a positive experience.

    Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

    Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to dynamic situations.

    Availability for remote responsibilities on weekends.

    Work Hours:

    Monday to Friday in-office.

    Compensation:

    Base pay is dependent on experience, with a salary range of $45,000–$60,000 annually.
