Job Description
The Distribution Center is a non-retail location that handles intake and delivery of special order items and building large stock transfers to our retail stores. The Warehouse position is frequently using our inventory tracking tools to pull materials and load them into a large container. Once completed, the stock transfer is sent to the appropriate store. This job requires focus, extreme attention to detail, critical thinking, and a willingness to investigate discrepancies or inconsistencies in inventory. This job may be assisting other team members move special order items around the warehouse. In some cases, this job may require making deliveries in a company vehicle or operating a forklift at the warehouse.
This is a Full-Time job working 40 hours per week with overtime eligibility!
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Qualifications
Employees must possess the ability to perform the following duties:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to lift materials that consistently weigh 60lbs or more, carry them a short distance, and load them into a vehicle. Additionally, applicants should have competent typing skills, proficient in general computer operations, and a positive and collaborative attitude.
Additional Information
This is an entry level position with a paid two-week training period and continued learning while employed. The two-week training is completed on site with your supervisor or at a *Training Yard with the Training Department. The training for this position will focus on product knowledge, Point of Sale software, and yard operations.
*Training hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm and is required
This position is in a yard/retail environment. This position is largely active and requires employees to be on their feet for most of the shift. The noise level is moderate to loud.
